Three out of the five First Class candidates at the just released results of the Final Bar (Nigeria Law School) Examinations are from the University of Ibadan, Idowu Olayinka, the institution’s Vice Chancellor has said.
The Vice-Chancellor revealed this in a statement he signed himself made available to newsmen.
According to him, the institution “equally recorded outstanding performance generally from the other UI graduates who sat for the Bar Examinations.”
The three first class students from the University of Ibadan are: Olalere Yusuf, Adebayo Deborah, and Madu Kelechie.
“We wish to congratulate all the UI students for their superlative performance once again. You have proved to be worthy ambassadors of this premier University.
“We congratulate Dean Professor Adeniyi Olatunbosun, former Dean Professor Oluyemisi Bamgbose SAN, Prof Simisola Akintola, and through the trio to all members of the Faculty of Law.
“You have given us one more reason to celebrate during this lockdown and New Normal,” the VC wrote.
One of the graduates, Olalere Yusuf, in a statement on his facebook page, described his feat as essentially the work of pure grace of God and Hard work.
“The grace story continues; the tradition of excellence, defended,” Alamu, a candidate of the Chartered Institute of Finance Analyst, added.
“We will continue to build on our monumental successes and keeping the vision of our founding fathers alive” Dr. Olusegun Odekunle, UI alumnus reacted.
